Veneers can improve the colour, shape and position of your teeth. A precise shade of porcelain can be chosen to give the right colour to improve a single discoloured tooth or to lighten your front teeth. A veneer can make a chipped tooth look whole again.

Veneers make teeth look natural and healthy. Because they are very thin and are held in place by a special, strong adhesive, very little preparation of the tooth is needed. Some types of veneers don’t need any preparation at all.

Composite veneers are sculpted at the time of placement.

The composite resin is applied in layers to the tooth and modeled to the correct the length and shape. Each layered is hardened using a curing-light.

Usually, a small amount of tooth structure has to be removed to allow for placement of composite resin in the desired shape without added tooth bulk.

This procedure consists of carbamide or hydrogen peroxide gel applications that can be applied in-office or by the patient (at-home/overnight bleaching system).  A crown is a cap that is placed over a tooth and held in place by dental adhesive or cement.

Crowns are used for several reasons:

• As a protective cover for badly decayed teeth or fractured teeth

• As a permanent restoration for teeth with large fillings

• To correct minor problems in natural teeth like spacing and irregular shape or severe discolouration.

Fluoride is a natural mineral that builds strong teeth and prevents cavities. It’s been an essential oral health treatment for decades. Fluoride supports healthy tooth enamel and fights the bacteria that harm teeth and gums. Tooth enamel is the outer protective layer of each tooth.
